TERMS & CONDITIONS

Ladderstore puts our customer at the heart of everything that we do and offer first-class service and quality access products at the best prices. If any problems occur we are here to ensure that they are resolved as quickly and effectively as possible.

We have tried to keep our terms and conditions as simple as possible and if you have any questions please call us on 01204 590232 or email us and we will happily clarify any points.

The Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

ORDERING

You may order from Ladderstore through many different channels. We accept orders through the website, by telephone or by fax. All orders must be paid for before dispatch unless you have a Business Credit Account with us.

All orders placed by you need to be checked and should they be incorrect you need to inform us as soon as possible. If you make any mistakes whilst inputting your order through the website you will be liable for any re-delivery fees.

We reserve the right to amend product specification and to update product description from time to time. Whilst every endeavor is made to ensure accuracy, we can accept no liability for any detail discrepancy.

Bespoke Orders: If a technical drawing is created and the order is then cancelled there may be a charge. This fee comes directly from our suppliers

PRICE AND PAYMENT

Prices are shown both excluding VAT and including VAT. The VAT will be charged at the UK rate. A full VAT invoice will be emailed out to you on completion of your order. Please check your inbox for this invoice as we do not send them by post.

At Ladderstore we try to make sure that all our prices and details are correct. Occasionally errors may happen and in this case, we will contact you before we ship your order. Orders placed that contains a clear price discrepancy will be refunded should the customer not wish to pay the difference. 

Ladderstore accepts most credit and debit cards. You will be contacted if we find the card or address details to be incorrect.

We also accept payment by Paypal, BACS and personal cheques. In all cases, orders will not be processed until funds have cleared through our bank.

All orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by Ladderstore.

Where payment for Business Credit Accounts has not been made within the agreed time specified Ladderstore reserves the right to charge 8% plus the Bank of England base rate for business to business transactions.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

Ladderstore takes online security extremely seriously and has taken steps to ensure that your payment information is processed confidentially and accurately.

We are enrolled in the Verified by Visa and Mastercard SecureCode card protection systems for your protection as well as ours. You will be asked to complete your security details at the end of each transaction. If you are not enrolled please click the appropriate button.

MARKETING PREFERENCES

We, Ladderstore Limited will send email and SMS marketing campaigns to opted in subscribers . The content of these campaigns will include promotional materials such as discounts and new products alongside help guides and industry news. You have the ability to opt out at any time by sending STOP to the SMS received or using the opt out button via email. Should you have any concerns regarding your data please contact us on marketing@ladderstore.com.

DELIVERY

Ladderstore ensures that deliveries take place as quickly as possible and we clearly state the lead time on each product. If an item is out of stock we will contact you to ensure that you are kept up to date with any extended delivery dates. We may offer you an alternative product if suitable or you will be able to cancel your order.

If your delivery is damaged during delivery please let us know within 24 hours of delivery. If the delivery looks obviously damaged please refuse the delivery.

Ladderstore shall not be held liable for any consequential losses, damages or expenses incurred by you the purchaser or any third party, arising directly or indirectly out of late or non-delivery of your order. Our liability is limited to refunding any surcharges you may have paid for services we are unable to fulfil. We advise that you should not arrange for contractors, fitters or workman who require the items in your order to attend site before your order has arrived and you have checked it thoroughly.

Title and risk in the goods shall pass to you the purchaser upon delivery and receipt by our courier of a signed delivery note.
Please understand that items ordered and delivered, but refused at the point of delivery for reasons such as " too heavy", " too long", " too short" or "not suitable" will only be credited when the item is returned to us by our courier in an undamaged & saleable condition. The cost of the goods will then be credited in full, less the cost of return carriage to our warehouse. Please, therefore, check all sizes, weights & descriptions carefully prior to ordering.

Failed deliveries will be notified to you by the carrier who will advise you of the action require to re-deliver or arrange collection from their premises. If the product has to be returned to our warehouse, re-delivery will incur additional charges.


MOBILE TERMS OF SERVICE

The Ladderstore Limited mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Ladderstore Limited (“Ladderstore Limited”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Ladderstore Limited’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Ladderstore Limited through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. The service will include promotional messages such as promotions, specials, coupons, and other marketing offers; it will also include transactional messages such as order updates and account alerts.

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Ladderstore Limited. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to Ladderstore or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Ladderstore Limited mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
