Frequently Asked Questions

What Is A Vertical Ladder?

Vertical ladders are designed specifically for use when safe vertical access is required, often used on apartment buildings and mills. These ladders are great for accessing roofline levels of taller buildings and can be bought with or without hoops depending on the height of the ladder needed.

When Do I Need To Add A Cage To My Vertical Ladder? / Fall Protection

Vertical ladders require fixed fall protection when the ladder is 3 meters or above. The usual way to add fall protection is by adding a safety cage however you can also add a fixed fall arrest system should you prefer to do so. Personal fall protection should also be considered when working at this height. It is also worth noting if your vertical ladder is greater than 9m a rest platform is required.
