The Stepfold 3 has a platform height of 2m which is an ideal and safe solution for working at low levels for longer periods of time. Using a specially designed telescopic guardrail frame, the user is able to access the step platforms to gain easy access to and from the working platform.
The Stepfold range is compact and can fit through standard doorways, the folding mechanism on the platform allows it to fold flat making it ideal for transport and storage when not in use. As standard the stepfold podium steps come with a gate that a user should close behind them when on the platform. At an additional charge these podiums can be manufacured with saloon style gates that self close for added piece of mind.
The Stepfold Podium are also now certified to BS 8620. This classification replaces PAS250 and when buying new podiums it is recommended to purchase to the new standard. BS 8620 includes dimensional changes to side protection and has enhanced testing.
