Make the most of your loft and home with the Skylark Semi-Automatic Attic Stairs, a premium solution that combines an electrically operated trapdoor with a high-quality manual ladder. This model is perfect for those looking for luxury and reliability at a great price, offering a complete unit with an insulated trapdoor and fixed timber frame. Unlike the fully automatic version, this system features an electric hatch that lowers at the touch of a button, while the ladder is designed to be unfolded manually in one smooth motion.
Suitable for floor to ceiling heights between 2.9 to 3.2m, this version of the semi-automatic electric loft ladder folds into three sections, storing completely on the hatch so that no extra storage space is required in your loft. To operate, you simply push and hold the button on your remote control or use the hardwired switch located on the lid to watch the trapdoor lower into position, the ladder can then be pulled down. Safety and comfort are prioritized with a 64-degree climbing angle, a 230mm distance between steps, and a 105mm tread depth. The unit is highly energy-efficient with a U-Value of 0.71 and meets the rigorous BS EN 14975 ladder standards. Every Skylark Semi-Automatic comes with two handrails as standard and a 10-year parts warranty for long-term peace of mind.
Main features include:
- Ceiling Height: Between 2.9 and 3.2m
- Minimum Hatch Length: 1500mm
- 10-year parts warranty
- Beech hardwood construction
- 150kg working load capacity
- Deep non-slip steps with two handrails
- BS EN 14975
