The scaffold safety awareness and TG20 course is aimed at any personnel who are required to work on or around scaffolding. These persons should always receive training in the safe use and pre-use of scaffold structures. The on day course covers a wide range of aims and objectives and includes everything a scaffold user needs to know, brushing up on all the basics.

- Egress from scaffold structures
- Safe working practices on platforms
- Material Handling and storage
- Inspection procedures, reports and record-keeping requirements
Content:
- Health & Safety legislation
- Codes of practice
- Risk assessment
- Scaffold components
- Lifting equipment selection
- Safe use of Gin wheels
- Access points and selection of access equipment for scaffolds and securing by knots or clamps.
Upon completion of this one day awareness course a 3 year MTST certificate for scaffold awareness training will be issued. A working knowledge of scaffolding would be an advantage but not essential.
