These standard sized beaded premium loft hatches from the Access Panel Company conforms to part L building regulations for insulation and air tightness. These hatches are insulated to 0.35 U Value and are air tight and draft sealed to 0.17mph.
The 'Silk System' disguises the keyhole of the panel making it almost invisible. Usually the main cause of the eye being drawn to an access panel is the missing cap or gaping keyhole. With the 'Silk System' you will never have a missing cap and your panel will blend imperceptibly into its surroundings. This panel is finished in a polyester powder coated white textured finish, which can also be over-painted. The door tray is hinged in its short length by two pivot hinges and locked by a concealed key operated square drive lock.
