The 11 Tread Klime-ezee industrial warehouse steps are suitable for construction, retail, commercial, office and even military applications. The KE range of warehouse steps are one of the most popular ranges on our website and can be completely customised to suit your application. We offer a range of customisable options below however if you need something a little more bespoke such as secured access to the steps, certain RAL colours or even a complete system change don't hesitate to get in touch and discuss our bespoke access solutions.
Manufactured from 25mm steel tube these warehouse steps are perfect for heavy duty use. The 7 tread models and above also have a 150mm high toe plate to the rear and sides of the platform. The back pulpit rail on the platform is 1000mm high and 950mm high at the sides. These industrial steps also have a safe working load of 300 kg.

Wheels & Castors
2 Tread Steps – are manufactured with 4 plunger castors.
3 To 6 Tread Steps – are manufactured with large castors at 125mm and small wheels at 160mm.
7 To 15 Tread Steps – are manufactured with large castors at 125mm and large wheels at 200mm.
Brake Type
2 Tread Steps – have 4 Self Weight Retractable Plunger Castors.
3 Tread Steps – have a Side Handle Braking System.
4 Tread Steps and above – have Central Bar Braking System.
Treads
The treads are 550 x 200 mm wide giving the user a comfortable standing platform when working at height. For a small additional cost you can also get anti-slip PVC treads on these warehouse steps. The PVC treads are made from high grip material and is perfect for softer soled shoes meaning it could be ideal for shop and retail environments. The different tread options are pictured below.
Tread Extensions are also available on Klime-ezee warehouse steps. A tread extension enlarges the platform of the warehouse step by the selected number of treads. This will increase the footprint but also gives the user more space when working at height.
Rear Platform Options
Rear platform options are available when warehouse steps are being used for accessing other platforms from the top of the warehouse step. Most modifications of this type are reasonably straightforward as you can see below. The flushed back is a wheel modification the help the warehouse step fit flush to other units and walls. When choosing a rear platform option a flush modification is also recommended for ultimate safety.
What makes the Klime-Ezee central braking system so special?
The Central Braking system is a ‘bar’ lever positioned between the 3rd and 4th tread. When engaged the step is mobile and the bar prevents access to the step, maximising safety. When disengaged, by moving the lever back between the treads, the front legs are grounded on the floor allowing safe access to the step.
