The Electric Heavy Duty Stira Folding Attic Stairs is designed for an attic space that will be used regularly. Whether it be as a supply room, spare room for visitors, home office or studio the Heavy Duty Stira is specially designed to be as robust as possible. The Heavy Duty Stira is one of the strongest attic ladders available and the Semi-automatic design feature brings the ladder out of the hatch for you.
The Heavy Duty Stira is also designed for use in offices or workshops, where the stairs would be used on a regular base to carry heavy objects into the attic. The Heavy Duty Stira features bigger hinges and has a deeper step making the ladder stronger, more comfortable to climb and safer for employees.

Please Note: If you intend to install your Stira Semi-Automatic system flush against a permanent structure in your loft space such as a wall, you'll require an extra 40mm clearance on the motor side, and/or an extra 15mm clearance on the bearing side on the width. For the length, you'll require an extra 40mm clearance at the motor end. All at a height of approximately 430mm above the trapdoor. This is to allow for these Semi-Automatic elements which protrude past the outer frame external width and length dimensions.
