Safe Use & Pre Use of Harnesses Training Course

Our harnesses training courses are aimed at any personnel who as part of their role carries out or supervises any projects involving the use of harnesses. As an important aspect of fall protection harnesses should be used and also inspected by a competent person, and this training course gives delegates that competency. Suiting managers, supervisors and users our harness training is suitable for everyone involved in working at height tasks.

At the end of this half day course users will have the ability to confidently use a harness and suitably deal with risks arising when working at height. Supervisors and managers on the course should be able to assess if their work forec are working at height safely and in harmony with current safe working at height practices and legislation.

The course content includes:

• Legislation and regulations.
• Inspection and maintenance requirements for harnesses.
• Record keeping and issuing requirements for harnesses.
• Hazard and control measures to arrest the fall of personnel who are required to either work or supervise work in exposed areas.
• Relevant standards, certificates of conformity.
• Rescue plans and equipment.

Upon completion of this course delegates will be awarded with a cerficiate, valid for three years.
