Wheels & Castors

2 Tread Steps – are manufactured with 4 plunger castors.
3 To 6 Tread Steps – are manufactured with large castors at 125mm and small wheels at 160mm.
7 To 15 Tread Steps – are manufactured with large castors at 125mm and large wheels at 200mm.

Brake Type

2 Tread Steps – have 4 Plunger Castors.
3 Tread Steps – have a Side Handle Braking System.
4 Tread Steps and above – have Central Bar Braking System.

Tread Materials

There are three types of tread available on the knock down warehouse steps. These options are essentially personal preference. All designs offer anti-slip properties. The three tread types are punched metal, PVC and Rubber.

Tread Extensions are also available on Klime-ezee warehouse steps. A tread extension enlarges the platform of the warehouse step by the selected number of treads. This will increase the footprint but also gives the user more space when working at height.

Rear Platform Options

Rear platform options are available when warehouse steps are being used for accessing other platforms from the top of the warehouse step. Most modifications of this type are reasonably straightforward as you can see below. The flushed back is a wheel modification the help the warehouse step fit flush to other units and walls. When choosing a rear platform option a flush modification is also recommended for ultimate safety.
