The Zarges Teletower has been the go-to choice for professionals who need high-access stability without the bulk of a traditional tower. But even the best tools evolve. Zarges have recently updated the much loved Teletower TT002 model with a few key changes to improve practicality and safety. This blog post will cover the key changes of the 2nd generation Teletower and answer some burning questions.
Don't have time to read all of the below? Here are the key changes:

What Has Changed With The Zarges Teletower?
In terms of key changes there are four key noticable difference between the original product and the second generation. These changes are:
Platform Height Changes: The old version of the Zarges Teletower had 7 different platform heights. The newly designed version has 5 platform heights that can be used; these platform heights are 1.10, 1.30, 1.55, 1.75 and 2.0m. Overall the maximum platform height remains the same, the difference is the number of platform heights this product can be used at.
Dimension Changes: The platform width on the 2nd generation Teletower from Zarges has been reduced from 0.7 to 0.6 metres. This change makes the tower significantly more compact when fully erected. It can now navigate through tighter hallways and standard interior doorways with much greater ease than the older, wider version.
Weight & Height: If the new tower feels a bit more "solid," that’s because it is. There have been slight increases to both the physical height and the materials used. which slightly increases the weight. The weight has increased to 59.9kg (an increase of 0.9kg) and a slight change in height from 2.95 to 2.97 on the new version.
Anti Finger Trapping Technology: Perhaps the most important upgrade in this new version isn't just how it stands, but how it closes. Zarges has addressed one of the biggest pain points for telescopic users, finger trapping. The new design of the TT002 seperates each extendable rung by a black stopper to avoid the risk of finger trapping.
What Stayed the Same With The Teletower?
The good news is, not everything has changed and the key unique selling points that our customers love remain the same. The second generation Zarges Teletower can still be erected in just three minutes by one user and is compact for transportation and storage purposes. With integrated toe boards and stabilising legs the reliability of the Zarges Teletower is still unmatched when it comes to mobile telescopic towers.
Can I Still Purchase The Old Version?
The old version of the TT002 is unfortunately now sold out and has been made discontinued by the manufacturers of the product. Therefore the old version is no longer available for sale.
Summary
The new TT002 isn't just a height-adjustable platform; it’s a precision-engineered tool designed to make your workday smoother, safer, and more efficient. You still get the same 3-minute setup you’ve always loved, now with the added peace of mind that comes from the latest in telescopic safety innovation.
