Our Recent Supplier Visit
As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring we are offering the best and safest solutions for the job myself and Gareth had the pleasure of attending Pop-up Products to see their products in action and discuss what’s coming next. This meeting brought together innovation, collaboration, and hands-on experience. This visit was an opportunity to connect, learn and get inspired from the products at Pop up, the demos and hands on experience.
Putting Names to Faces
From the moment we arrived, the team were as warm and welcoming as ever. We spent time with introductions and familiarising ourselves with the team behind the scenes in the offices and on the warehouse floor, finally putting names to faces for those who we had not yet met but those we speak to on a day-to-day basis on the telephone and on email. It was refreshing to meet the team who are an integral part of not only Pop-Up but the people who are responsible and contribute to our fantastic working relationship. These personal interactions added a layer of depth to our working relationships and reinforced the value of face-to-face engagement in today’s times.

Hands-On Demos:
We had the opportunity to see the products in action, With the Mitower we noted the ease of assembly and disassembly and also transportation , these tower bases double as a trolley, storing the scaffold tower away easily in the base of the tower. This also means it can be done by a solo worker. We were also impressed by the small footprint these towers have and how quickly they can be assembled.
We also saw the Delta-Deck, noting the compact dimensions which allow for easy transportation and storage again by a solo worker. It can be accessed at either end of the platform, and they have innovative folding guardrails that are easily and correctly deployed at all platform height settings. This was a great piece of kit which was able to be quickly assembled, no wonder they are a best seller for working on site.
Then finally we saw the IQ Pro 10 this was a game-changer. The IQ10 is a push around lift and designed to provide the safest access solution for working at height. It has been designed for low level access and can withstand demands of everyday use on site, offering enhanced safety features including long battery life, leading edge safety, conforms to latest standards, low cost of ownership and environmentally friendly. Gareth our MD tried this product whilst at Pop Up , when asked for feedback on the product, Gareth said ‘It was ideal for navigating tight spaces and had a simple intuitive operational panel, making it easy to understand and learn the controls. It felt stable and suitable for simple vertical work, especially for indoor work. I was pleased with it being electric, it produces no emissions, noise or fumes and had a good quality battery life. I found it a quick, quiet and safe solution for low level access that was easily maneuverable due to its small footprint and is a strong performer for secure vertical work.’
The live demos gave us a deeper understanding of its capabilities and potential impact. It’s one thing to read about a product—but witnessing its performance firsthand brought everything to life. The team’s expertise and enthusiasm made the experience even more engaging.
