Last week we had a visit from Werner Co. to showcase some of their ladders and to give us more knowledge on the BoSS Tower Systems. With some new team members here it benefited the new and even existing members of the team. It was great for our team to see, touch and further the team's knowledge on the range of ladders and towers we offer and their benefits.
Ladder Demonstrations
We were shown a wide range of our popular products during the ladder demonstrations which we’d seen many times before, however, there were ranges that we were not aware of. The Werner X4 Combination ladder was showcased and it was great to see how easy, stable and secure this combination ladder was to use. We now have added this range to our website.
BoSS Tower Demonstration
The main point of the visit was to go through the differences between the standard tower set up 3T, and the AGR system. The AGR system allows the tower to be built much quicker as there are far fewer parts allowing for a speedy erection of the unit by one person as it is a single frame rather than multiple components.
It was great to see this in action because we always like to be up to date with new products and it allowed the team to have a practical understanding of the system rather than gathering information from brochures and literature.
As well as the Advanced Guard Rail system, we were shown how the towers have platforms at every two metres apart for added safety, along with the adjustable castors to give stability when working on uneven ground.
Summary
We would like to say a big thank you to Lee and Matt for popping in to show us these. We always like to have the team up to speed on any products in order to be able to give any advice or pointers where needed. We even got ourselves a Werner Dartboard to keep us occupied at lunchtime!
