All our rolling ladders are made to order and made specifically for you. They come in a range of finishes, materials and styles. Our rolling ladders aren’t just for use in libraries or on a bookshelf, they have been used in bars, restaurants, theatres, kitchens, showrooms and even on the television from time to time.

If you’ve decided a rolling ladder is a perfect solution for you that’s great news.

Let’s get started!

Rolling Or Hook On Ladder

When it comes to choosing your rolling ladder there are multiple options, you can either have it rolling on a captive track is manufactured in stainless steel tube and comes away from the wall. The two options can be seen below. The aluminium on the left and the stainless steel on the right. With the hook on ladder option there is no rolling mechanism, the ladder is manufactured with notches and can therefore be placed onto a secure bar.

Wood Type

Regardless if you select the aluminium or timber track style the ladder quality is not compromised, both styles are manufactured using high quality and sustainable selected timbers. Below you will find a list of our wood options, we have also listed these in price order, to help if you are working on a budget.

Redwood - Our most cost effective option offering the most lightweight ladder

Poplar - Also known as tulipwood this timber is perfect for painting or staining as the low sap content ensures the most even and effective finish.

Ash - Our strongest timber ladder with a distinctive grain

Oak - A classic timber which will suit most decors, perfect with an oiled finish

Walnut - A beautiful dark finish perfect to take a clear lacquered finish.

Finishes

We recommend all of our rolling ladders to have a finish, this helps protect the wood and stops marking when the ladder is in use. We can finish the ladder for you by either lacquering, staining or painting it for you, alternatively, you can do this yourself when the ladder gets delivered.
