Rolling Library Ladders are no longer just a simple solution to access problems; they are a key design feature in their own right.
With this in mind, we have created a rolling ladder system that that can be tailored to solve any number of access problems within a variety of environments, without compromising on style, design and handmade quality.
From the functionality of a warehouse, to the contemporary design of a city centre cocktail bar, perhaps as a useful and practical libary ladder, or even as part of a home makeover or renovation, we provide an extremely versatile product that offers style, substance and solution to even the trickiest of access issues.
Individually hand-built and supplied by our UK carpenters, located in Ipswich, our rolling ladders are available in Oak, Redwood, Maple or Walnut for use in a home or working business environment such as an office or bar. Our rolling ladders are a simple yet effective enhancement to your access solutions. Our carpenters will expertly choose the timber for your wooden ladders so that you can ensure your product fits your style as well as your solution.
The key to our rolling ladder’s versatility is the innovative, precision-engineered and anodised alloy track and captive trolley system. The ladder is attached to a trolley chassis, where it can then smoothly run up and down the length of the track and be easily re-positioned - or stored away vertically - through a simple lift and push motion.
The trolley chassis runs on industrial nylon bearings for a smoother operation that is maintenance-free once installed – our product aims to enhance not inconvenience! The track of our rolling library ladders can be mounted on either a vertical (front) or horizontal (top) surface as standard, and can be as long or as short as required.
Our library ladders are available in a variety of finishes to match the aesthetics of your chosen location – in the comfort of a private home or within a thriving business environment.
We offer four timber rolling ladders in Oak, Redwood, Maple or Walnut, though other woods are available directly from the UK upon request. The wood is supplied unfinished, which allows you to either enjoy the style of the wood as it is, or to easily stain or wax the ladders to suit your existing decor. Our ladders are crafted by our carpenters to carefully fit your measurements and suit your needs.
All ladders for sale comprise deep, anti-slip treads for safe, secure and comfortable access as standard.
Our innovative rolling ladder design allows installation in almost any setting, including those where space is tight. When not in use, your ladders can be stored vertically or can even be completely removed from the track if you wish. The track and chassis system is tested to carry a load of 130kg.
Optional accessories available include standard & extended aluminium handrails and rubber tread inserts.
