What are manhole ladders?

A manhole is an opening to a confined space such as a shaft, vault, or even large vessels. The most common type of manhole is an access point for going underground and a manhole ladder helps allow workers to ascend and descend down these spaces. Manhole ladders have been specifically designed to safely be used in confined spaces. Shaft ladders are usually single section ladders that are fixed to the position where they are used. If you have additional requirements for working in manholes get in touch with our team and we’ll be happy to advise.
