As we’ve always said rolling library ladders are not only for use in libraries. We have seen these being used in kitchens, bars and all around the home to access higher storage spaces.
A couple of weeks ago Pat got in touch with us to share the beautiful images of her new wardrobes and rolling ladder! Continue to read to hear all about Pat’s project and experience with Ladderstore.
“When we bought this house, one of our smaller bedrooms was already a dressing room but not all the space was used wisely. See photo below.

The problem was that the room had this array of standard wardrobes and yet the ceilings in our house are high. We started stacking things on top so everything became quite untidy. We did some research and eventually decided against large company offerings, some of which couldn’t easily handle the height. We needed something bespoke and so needed a carpenter to design and install floor to ceiling cupboards along one wall to a height of 3.4 metres. But I also wanted all the space to be “usable”.
I started looking at how to achieve this and came across “library ladders”. Ladderstore immediately felt right as they could be tailored to the size and we loved the professional approach and the reassurance of CAD drawings before anything would be made and shipped.
