Our rooftop and harness training is an in-depth course based around the safe use of harnesses, the applicable standards for rooftop safety as well as rescue planning procedures. Suited to managers, charge hands and supervisors who manage any work at height including the use of harness restraint at exposed edges, our training course gives delegates the confidence to assess their workforce are working safely.
When working of rooftops or any exposed edge, risk of a fall is greatly increased and our training course will give you the knowledge and confidence to avoid these risks. The course topics include:
- Legislation
- Industry specific training
- Why the harness and choices of working
- Applicable standards for equipment associated to roof top safety
- Harness and lanyard selection
- Inspecting and securing harnesses
- Safe use of restraint devices and installation requirements
- Rescue planning, procedures and equipment
Upon completion of this course delegates will receive a certificate of completion from our training partners valid for 3 years.
