We recently wrote an article about vehicle access safety for National Lorry Week. In particular, we discussed how to prevent being one of the 2,000 people who fall from vehicles each year. Our customer Yorkshire Timber Engineering contacted us to tell us how the Loadstep Vehicle Access Ladder had made accessing their vehicles easier and therefore safer.

The Loadstep Vehicle Access Ladder enables easy access to the bed of any goods vehicle. Supplied with easily installed brackets and locks for secure storage on a vehicle, a fold-away 1-metre handrail for safe step through on to and off the lorry bed, and integral tie to allow a ladder to be secured to the vehicle.
The folding top platform lies flat on the lorry bed to form the correct stepping off-angle while the integrated camming action makes it impossible for the ladder or platform to slip or move, providing extra security and stability.
This is an industrial-strength ladder made to the same specification as Class 1 kitemarked ladders whilst still being lightweight. It can be used all around a vehicle, accommodating a variety of ground and load levels.
