Last night we won the Retail Award at the Skills for Business Awards. A brilliant achievement and a very happy team this morning!
Delivered by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network and Greater Manchester Apprenticeship Hub and in association with Pearson, the awards are an annual event celebrating the outstanding contribution that skills and learning make to businesses across Greater Manchester. Now in it's second year, the awards took place at The Point at Lancashire County Cricket Club and were hosted by comedian Justin Moorhouse.
The awards recognised and celebrated the following groups:
- Greater Manchester businesses across all sectors who invest in the training and development of their staff
- Schools that support young people into the world of work / Apprenticeships
- Learning providers that engage with, understand and meet the needs of businesses in the region
- Outstanding apprentices, advanced / higher apprentices and other learners who have honed their skills and excelled as a result of the training and development they have received
