How To Make Your Crisp Packets Raise Money For Charity

Crisp Packets Raise Money Blog Header

Why not kill two birds with one stone by helping the environment, recycling your crisp packets and raising money for charity at the same time!

Due to demand, Terracycle is supporting Walkers to set up their own recycling scheme. The aim of this initiative is to allow us to recycle crisp packets for the greater good. Any brand of crisp packets are accepted however they do not accept the following items:

- Popcorn bags

-  Crisp tubes

- Pretzel bags

- Meat snack bags

Here at Ladderstore, we have decided to nominate ourselves as a drop-off point for the scheme in support of the charity BackUp, a local young person homelessness charity.

By collecting these crisp packets BackUp is able to redeem the weight of the packets for points which can be exchanged for money once 1,000 points have been reached.

Who would have thought such an amazing thing could come out of you eating a packet of crisp?!

You can even have some fun creating your very own crisp packet collection box

Here is how you can get involved!

If you live local to Bolton then you can pop into our reception area and pop your flattened crisp packets into our (very nicely decorated) collection box or you can even pop down to Back Up and hand them straight to our chosen charity.

If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can easily see where your local crisp packet collection point is located: bit.ly/2FNzh5Q
