Do you manage a team of people who use ladders on a daily basis? Has your team ever had ladder training, or do you have a qualified ladder inspector on-site? If not, why not?
Not having your ladders properly inspected or having ladder users, incorrectly handling ladders can put your employees in a lot of danger and this can be easily be rectified with our Ladder Association accredited training that we offer at our Bolton facility or on-site at your firm.
Still unsure if your team needs ladder training, then don’t just listen to us, listen to one of our very own ladder training customer, Harry Pennington the health and safety advisor at ADT Workplace. Here is what Harry had to say about his ladder training experience.
Why did you choose Ladderstore for your training? - Was it because we offer Ladder Association training? – We chose Ladderstore due to finding the information they provided on a Working Well Together event informative. However, it did help that you do offer the Ladder Association Training.
Did you contact other training Companies/ suppliers? - We did not, we just decided to go direct with yourselves.
What problem will the training solution for you? – It helped give further information into the use and inspection of ladders & stepladders. This was vital for us, so when we are on our sites we can ensure that ladders are being selected appropriately and used safely.
Do the delegates feel more confident /competent now? – I do feel more competent in the inspection & use of ladders.
What is the key point they have learned? – What to look for when inspecting a ladder.
What feedback have you got regarding the trainer? – The trainer was very knowledgeable which helped with the presentation of the course.
What feedback regarding the facilities at Ladderstore? – The facilities were good and clean and the food which was provided was very nice.
Would you recommend Ladderstore for training? – Yes, I would recommend Ladderstore to anyone looking to gain further knowledge on the use and inspection of ladders & stepladders.
Anything we can improve on? – At the start of the course, it seemed like there was a lot of paperwork everywhere and it didn’t seem too clear to the trainer what he was meant to be using. Some of the forms which were given seemed to replicate themselves sometimes. It may be better for reducing the number of printouts.
