    • Hi there - I'm trying to work out whether this ladder will fit inside my loft space when up. There are some pipes and roof struts in the loft space a few inches away from the opening. The illustration for this ladder show that when 'up', the top part protrudes slightly 'up' and 'back' into the loft space. Have you some dimensions for this aspect of the ladder so I can determine for myself whether it will fit?
    • When folded up in the closed position the 60324 Telescopic loft ladder requires 250mm horizontal clearance and 250mm vertical clearance.

If you would like further assurances as to whether this ladder will work for you please complete a loft ladder guaranteed fit form on the product page and we will give you a guarantee that it will fit based on your measurements, if there is any problem we will collect the ladder from you and give you a full refund.

    • I'm not a chippie just basic diy , but can you give me the measurements of the wood rafter required to screw the mounting to? I have a 10yr old house with a plastic hinge down hatch cover, this is proud of the wood rafter around the aperture by 18cm. will this foul when opening / closing ?

    • I have a hatch size of 65cm x 59cm and a floorboard to ceiling height of 250cm. The larger Telestep won't fit but could I fit the 60234 ladder? It says it only covers a drop of 245cm, but would it work with the 'optional extension" as it says it goes to 255cm?
    • Yes this will fit.

    • i have a tiny loft hatch in a new building - it's more like an access panel than a loft hatch - approx 530mmx530mm (drop down type). Can you suggest a ladder or will i have to increase the opening?

    • I want to install a telescopic ladder 60324. The hatch measures 520 x 765 with 100m joist. The hatch cover currently pushes upwards so I will need to fit a drop down type. As the 520 is a minimium space needed for the ladder can you recommend a type of drop down hatch that can be fitted.
    • We recommend this hatch:
