Access becomes simple and safe with a rolling ladder, the innovative design allows the ladders to be stored vertically minimising the space they take up when not being used. Delivery is free with an optional rolling ladder installation service available, however the system was designed for straightforward DIY installation using minimal tools.

Our rolling ladder system can be tailored to solve any number of access problems and can be used in a variety of environments from the home, the office or retail outlet to public buildings and warehouses. An extremely versatile product that can be hand built by our carpenters in oak for use in a domestic setting or used with a riveted aluminium ladder to access retail or industrial racking.

The ladder is attached to the trolley chassis and can then smoothly run up and down the length of the track and positioned by simply lifting and pushing the ladder to the required point. The trolley chassis runs on industrial nylon bearings for a smoother ride that is maintenance free once installed. The rolling ladder track can be mounted on either a vertical (front) or horizontal (top) surface as standard and can be as long, or short, as required. Our innovative design allows flexible fitting to suit any shelving, racking or storage situation.

Rolling Ladder Options

The ladders are available in a variety of finishes to suit the various demands of modern home interiors and business. We offer two timber rolling ladders both constructed by our carpenters to exactly fit your measurements. The first is a hardwoood option hand made from straight grained Oak and the second, softwood option, is hand made from Redwood joinery timber ( a light coloured resinous wood similar in appearance to pine ). The rolling ladder features a deep, anti-slip tread for safe and secure access. The treads are also wide and deep to provide a comfortable standing surface. Both timber ladders are supplied unfinished which allows you to simply enjoy the stylish and beautiful oak as it is, or to easily stain or wax the ladders to suit your existing décor.
An industrial aluminium ladder is also available that is robust and suited to use in a retail or warehouse racking setting as a cost effective alternative to mobile access steps.

Rolling Ladder Key Features

Our innovative rolling ladder design allows installation in almost any setting including those where space is tight and flooring is uneven. When in use the ladders have a reduced footprint due to the design of the trolley chassis and the angle of the ladders in use. When not in use the ladder can be stored vertically - against the shelving - by pushing the ladders in and up. A further option allows the ladders to be completely removed from the track when not in use. The system also has an inbuilt tolerance to accommodate some variation in the floor level.

Rolling Ladder Delivery & Installation

We manufacture our rolling ladders in the UK and they are tailored to your exact measurements with delivery usually between 1 and 3 weeks from order. They are delivered pre-assembled and ready for DIY installation. The trolley chassis is pre-assembled and fitted onto a section of track ready to be mounted. The track comes in 1 metre sections and can be mounted seamlessly. The ladders are delivered complete in one section. Delivery can be arranged anywhere in the UK and there is also a paid installation option available where one of our fitters will deliver and install the rolling ladder on site. Rolling Ladder Bespoke Design Options :- In most situations the standard rolling ladder system is adequate, but we also offer a bespoke design service for more demanding applications. - Can handrails be fitted to the ladders?
- Yes, aluminium safety handrails can be fitted to any of the timber rolling ladder options as well as the industrial aluminium option.

- The floor that I want the rolling ladders to rest on is slightly uneven, will that pose a problem?
- Our rolling ladders as a rule can cope with a slope of 1% as standard. (The industrial aluminium rolling ladders will deal with more extreme slopes). If you have a particular problem with floor slope or unevenness we can make minor modifications to the rolling ladders to solve the problem.

- Are your rolling ladders suitable for outdoor installation. I am thinking of growing a 'living wall' and will need access to weed and replant etc.
- Yes it is suitable for use outside as the track is anodised aluminium/ stainless steel and the chassis is marine grade. However if you wanted a timber ladder it would need treating with suitable varnish etc.

- I am looking to use the ladder to access a platform. Can it operate if the ladder extends 3 treads above the track? Also the photos show the track on the vertical face to the shelves but your data sheet show it on the top can it work in either application or do you need to specify at time of ordering?
- Yes in theory the ladder should work but we would require drawings to confirm.
  The track can be fitted to either face of the shelf
