Special Portable Loft Access Ladder

The 2 section ladder is manufactured from aluminium as a stepladder type with 80mm flat treads set at 67 degrees for ease of access. The ladder is constructed from structural grade fasteners making it heavy duty and durable.

The portable loft ladder is hooked on the special rail bracket (supplied) whilst in the closed position and retracted down to floor level by releasing a spring loaded index pin. The pin locks the ladder into the extended format for safety. The ladder is retracted by releasing the pin and reversing the procedure.

The portable loft ladder comes with optional handrails on the top section for safe access and has a maximum permissible load of 150kg.
