Laddermax

The LadderMax is a ladder stay that gives a more positive contact with the wall it is leaning against and helps prevent sideways movement. By not changing the angle of the ladder to the contact points it creates amazing stability.

The LadderMax clamps securely to the ladder by means of a large knurled nut. This provides a good fixing in seconds.

As well as increasing safety, the LadderMax comes with a large worktray area, ideal for holding paint pots, power tools or even a bucket of sand and cement, leaving your hands free to work.

The forward angle of the body towards the wall allows more pressure to be applied for jobs such as drilling, hammering, sanding, etc, and requires less balance.

This works very well, is strong and well made. It does add some weight to the top of the ladder, so extra care is needed putting the ladder up and especially putting it down again. You need a reasonably wide space of wall to rest it against and that has proved a problem with my house. Very steady once in use - you feel secure and can reach the fascias and gutters easily. Easy to fit to the ladder Review by Durham Lad

I bought this because of a wide eaves overhang and I needed to work on the guttering. The stand off distance is greater than the usual aluminium ones you get at DIY stores. It's easy to fit to the ladder. It's very stable in position and you feel very secure. The tray is great for holding tools and bits of pieces so you have two hands for getting on with the job.
