- Lasted longer than I expected Review by Daniel
-
I purchased this universal hook as I damaged the original one that came with my ridge ladder.Performance / Ease of Use Value for money Quality of product
It was easy to fit to the ladder and one year on it's still doing just fine. I check the nuts/bolts every few weeks but have never needed to tighten them. It is used moderately as I often replace roofing tiles, re point chimneys or scrape off roof moss etc.
Overall I am very pleased, it has lasted longer than I expected. (Posted on 17/02/2012)
- Worked fine for chimney repair Review by Peter

I used this pair of ladder hooks to get onto my roof to repair the flashing around a chimney. It was easy to fix to my aluminum ladders, and felt stable when I put my body weight and building materials (over 16 stones in total) onto it.Performance / Ease of Use Value for money Quality of product
It does flex a bit - but so does my normal ladder, so I wasn't surprised by that.
(Just make sure you follow all the appropriate safety rules and make certain you are safely harnessed and proofed against falling when working at heights - and this applies to any and all equipment.) (Posted on 17/02/2012)
