The Tradition is probably the best value timber loft ladder available on the market. Made by ladder specialists Zarges of Germany they are an easy to install 3 part timber loft ladder which come pre-assembled ready to be fitted into your loft opening. Supplied with full fitting instructions and an installation pack they are perfect for DIY hobbyists who want to fit their own loft ladders.

The superior 'z' style design folds on top of the hatch and requires only 550 mm vertical clearance and no horizontal clearance, so it is perfect where space is a premium in your attic.

It's one of our favourites because of the build quality and the fact that it comes with an optional hand rail and balustrade/ hatch safety rail kit making it one of the safest ladders you can buy. We would certainly recommend that you buy the optional safety hand rail. Like wise you need to think about getting a balustrade or hatch safety rail for your loft. Once you get into your loft it helps prevent anyone falling back through the loft hatch.
