Colin Demant is a time served cabinet maker who has worked from a junior apprentice to his current position as a fully qualified master craftsman. Having worked with timber for over 40 years, we can utilise this experience and Colin’s skills to ensure that whatever our customer's specification or timber requirements are, we have the knowledge and expertise to exceed expectations.
Colin has worked as an apprentice, employee, with a partner and owned his own workshop. He has a very particular set of skills (slightly different to the set of skills acquired by Liam Neeson) that means we can offer an all-around timber and engineering suite of solutions.
The timber for our rolling and hook on ladders are handpicked from timber plank stock to ensure the highest quality boards are selected. This process ensures that no sub-par timbers are used and that waste is minimised. Every board we purchase has been grown from a sustainable source, and through a careful combination of treads and ladder stiles, we ensure full utilisation to reduce wastage as far as possible, which is of utmost importance to us from an environmental standpoint.
With the highest quality materials selected and prepared, Colin’s strive for perfection continues with the hand sanding and fitting of every joint. Throughout the entire process, we never lose sight of the ultimate aim, to produce a ladder of unquestionable strength with unwavering attention to detail. It is this pursuit of perfection which drives both us, our suppliers and of course Colin.
