3 Story Home Fire Escape Ladder - 7.6 m
These Home Emergency Escape Ladders can assist your escape from a building that may be on fire. It is available in two lengths for 2 and 3 - storey homes. Each version in all other aspects and material specifications are identical. They are made from aluminium with a fire resistant webbing and come as standard with a 5 year warranty.
Designed for a quick and safe exit the ladders are packed ready for deployment. You simply place the hooks over the window sill with the ladder hanging on the outside and release the velcro strap to deploy the ladders. The ladders are packed to ensure that they deploy without tangling and it is important that you don't release them until you actually need to. Family members can practice getting the ladders out and mounting them on the window sill ready to use.
Being compact when packed makes it simple to store these ladders under a bed or in a cupboard or wardrobe. We recommend that you have one in each occupied bedroom in your home and that each member of your family knows where they are and how to mount them ready for use.
The ladder meets ASTM F21-02 Standard Specification for Portable Escape Ladder for Residential Use. They have also been tested to a 450 kg (71 st) weight holding capacity, but it is not advised to have more than one adult on the ladder at any one time.

Once the Velcro strap holding the rungs together is broken, the ladder cannot be returned to us for safety reasons. This does not affect your statutory rights.

As a former fireman, I can attest that there is no such thing as too much protection. The home escape ladder is a must have safety tool for any two story home. This product and others like it save lives. Unlike previous heavy chain constructed models, this system is light, tangle free and easy to store. Weighing in at almost 8kg this unit will hold up to 450kgs. I highly recommend storing this ONE TIME USE LADDER in the vicinity of the designated escape window. My office is on the second floor of a building built over 100 years ago, long before modern fire regulations. I wanted this fire escape ladder as there is only one exit and I was concerned that in case of fire that exit might be blocked. This ladder addresses my concerns and is reasonably priced and has decent quality. However, I am disappointed it is designed for one time use only, as this prevents us from actually testing it. Since I bought this ladder with knowledge from other reviews that it was one time use only, I cannot really complain. However, I did deduct 1 star. 4 stars from me.
